​I'm an animator/director, mocap studio owner, VR app creator, game developer, character rigger and team lead. I've spent 20+ years working in game and VR development from large teams at Electronic Arts to gutsy new tech startups like THE VOID.

My studio MoCap Central allows me to work with talented VR/game studios fulfilling mocap, rigging, pipeline and producer roles...I'm creatively flexible. I have my own onsite AAA quality mocap stage available 24/7. Originally from the UK I studied at Exeter Art College before taking a detour through life working on cruise ships (yes, it was fun!). I joined the San Fran game industry in 1997 and now live in Utah, USA.

COMMERCIAL PROJECTS

MY WORK
THE VOID - Some of my rigging, mocap and animation work while employed at The VOID, the worlds leading immersive VR company. Limited on what I can show due to Void IP partners.
JUMP (Client Project) - An immersive LBE VR experience. Responsible for all character rigging, facial, mocap body/face, retargeting, helicopter rig/animation, using Maya and Unreal.
MoCap Promo - Highlights my indie mocap stage and workflow from shoot to rendered in Unity.
Zombie Live Action - Body and camera mocap tracking data streaming live into Unity.
VR Training Demo (Client Project) - Compass navigation training, approx. 1km environment, built in Unity and running on Quest. Responsible for all work,  5 day project.
Mocap Acrobatics - External location testing for large volume motion capture shoots. Responsible for all work, mocap recording, object tracking, clean up, retargeting to MoCap character in Maya.
